New?
New to church or the area?
If you haven’t been to Kenilworth Community Church before, then our Sunday worship service is the best time to visit us. This is our main gathering as a community to come together and worship God.
Sunday worship services - 4:30pm at Abbey Hill Church
We meet every Sunday at 4:30pm at Abbey Hill Church. Whether you've been a Christian for a long time, or never set foot in a church before, you will be warmly welcomed!
What to expect at our services
We invite you to take part in as much or as little as you would like. Our services usually last 1 hour to 1 hr 30 minutes and include:
Bible readings – bring a Bible if you have one, but don’t worry if not – we have some you can borrow, and we put the words up on a projector for everyone to read.
Prayers – we talk to God because he listens and answers our prayers.
Singing – we sing to celebrate who God is and all that he has done, especially through sending his son Jesus.
A sermon – because we believe God has something to say to our lives today from the Bible. You can listen to past talks in our Sermons section.
Age appropriate activities for children & young people - Most Sundays we run activities for 0-14s during the sermon. On the 3rd Sunday of the month (and any 5th Sundays), we have church together, with the service designed to engage all ages.
And once a month, the Lord’s Supper (Communion), to celebrate the friendship we have with God through Jesus’ death and resurrection.
Every third Sunday of the month we stay after the service and have a meal together.
You are very welcome to join in or just watch and, after the service, to ask us any questions you have about what we believe and do.
There are free tea, coffee and biscuits after the service and time to chat. Please stay and get to know us!
If you've got any questions or concerns, please get in touch.
