Why we exist

"Go make disciples"

That's what Jesus told his Church to do.  For all the ages until he returns that commission stands, and that's why KCC exists: to make disciples, as disciples.

What does that look like in day-to-day life?

It looks like ordinary Christians worshipping God, as family, telling the gospel and doing good.

Not that we get all of that right all the time.  Only Jesus got it all right all the time!

Even so, by God's grace we're following him as best we can and hopefully we'll get more of it right more of the time.

How we got here

Depending on where we begin our story, Kenilworth Community Church was formed either in the mind of God in the furthest reaches of eternity past ... or more recently, when some Christian believers in Kenilworth and the surrounding areas began to sense God's leading to establish a new Evangelical church in the town.

As we prayed, one conversation led to another, and we discovered we shared a passion to worship God together as a spiritual family, to tell the gospel of Jesus Christ and do good in our town.

With the support of our 'big brother' churches (Emmanuel Church and Myton Church), as well as the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches, we established Kenilworth Community Church in mid-2019.
